    Reciprocal of i ?

I think the reason some books say that is due to the inherent arbitrary nature of the complex number system. Let me try to explain... suppose you let j=-i. Then do lots of complex no. questions with j and -j instead of -i and i respectively. You'll find that they all produce the same solutions...

Basically backdoor. What it means is, if you're good enough, they're willing to let you do quite a few extra units in your course. Actually, you can definitely do extra units in your course, the problem is whether you can get away with paying HECS for them and not full fee. They told me I had to...

I would disagree... well this is short so it might be wrong, but anyway, here goes... Consider a random bird (say, the one with a cheesy grin on its face) out of the 10. Its probability of surviving is (0.9)^10 (as 0.9 prob that one of the other birds gets chosen, and all shots go off at same...

    your maths skill level

If you get above 110 then you're basically assured high 90s (someone correct me?!) what do you mean screw up scaling anyway... 4U is such that you don't get a noticeable advantage with regards UAI after you get past around 95+... because the no. of marks you get (and each one is harder to get...

Post Sorry, this has nothing to do with your previous post, but I typed this this arvo and stupid computers wouldn't let me post, so here goes.. So what do you want? :-P Basically, I'll try to get as many units as I can... but sci/med is proving a real pain to implement in UNSW. What one...
