whats the answer? i got 0.62L (2.s.f) but i feel like i did it wrong
  2. R

    help

oops the person who got 0.53 is correct, i didnt include the h20 in the molar mass
  3. R

    help

    I got D, 100g + 14g = 114g, divide by 1.060, you get 107.54 which is the volume of the solution. c = n/v, n = 14/120.366, v = 0.10754. therefore c = 1.08 M (3.S.F)
  4. R

    help

just c! addition of h20 favours the reverse reaction and therefore makes it more pinl

    help

so u work out the [h+] for both solutions. for number 1, u hav 0.25 of H2SO4, so therefore 0.5 mols of h+ as its diprotic. Or so you think!!! H2SO4 ionizes in two stages, the first is h2s04 -> hso4- + h+, which happens 100% of the time (i.e h2so4 is a strong acid), but the ionisation of hso4 is...

    help

oops it is C, a is 0.0025 i forgot a decimal. silly!!!! but deltah for water is 57kj of heat realeased per mol, and one mol of water requires 1 mol of h+ and oh-, so more mols formed = more temp change :)
  7. R

    help

im p sure its a, you can eliminate b bc ch2cooh is a weak acid, and then u look at the mols that react, c has 0.02 mols of water formed, d has 0.005, a has 0.025 therefore the heat of combustion is highest for a

    Mathematics Extension 1 Predictions/Thoughts

    are solutions out yet?

    Mathematics Extension 1 Predictions/Thoughts

i got c bc if u draw it and then draw the inv function it looks like it crosses x = 1 3 times. for the last one i guessed c or d i dont remember

    Mathematics Extension 1 Predictions/Thoughts

i feel like 2022 wasnt that rough outside of the proj motion and the flights question while this like consistently sucked from the last part of q12

    Mathematics Extension 1 Predictions/Thoughts

i think that was like the hardest maths ext 1 paper ive ever done... managed to get 60-65+ on like all the trials/past papers and i think id be lucky to scrape a pass
  12. R

    help again sorry

haha i tried using series. i would skip this in an exam i feel like the point at which u even get 1 mark is so much work
  13. R

    help again sorry

is there a solution im so stumped
  14. R

    Mathematics Advanced Predictions/Thoughts

if u play around on desmos, where u have f(x) be an odd function you can see pretty easily that it's not true
  15. R

    Mathematics Extension 1 Predictions/Thoughts

ive literally never learnt how to do binomial proofs so if that comes up im gonna cry

    Mathematics Advanced Predictions/Thoughts

im p sure 360 is also a solution for the trig Q along with 0 and 300, also feel like i got a 90-95 raw depending on how generous they r with working marks slayy
  17. R

    Mathematics Advanced Predictions/Thoughts

my scale was so off lmao

    Binomial Expansion

expand as Nc0a^nb^0 + Nc1a^n-1B^1 + ... + NcNa^0b^n and then pick a term to = r, and the followign one to = r+1 and divide r+1 by r? im not sure but thats what i would do?
