    I received an early offer.

Hello i currently got an early offer from UWS as i was told if i put my desired course as first preference i would be accepted, which i did as i am skeptical because i might not get into some higher atar courses in other universities i applied for. If i accept the offer, may i change my...

    Rate the difficulty

I just had trouble with the electricity distribution response question, and maybe a few others but i seemed to work around them, multiple choice was pretty common for me, and i liked the elective questions. I give it a 7-8 though

    Section I - Multiple Choice

Yes i know but it doesn't mean i got them wrong :P Could someone please scan the test? I'd really like to look over it!

    Section I - Multiple Choice

They weren't that bad? I had trouble with around 4 of them, i'm glad there wasn't much motors because that usually stuffs me up.

    General Thoughts: Physics

I liked it, but i just didn't do the projectile motion question.

    Which way does electricity travel?

i know the answer but i don't know how they got it, and i do know everything about extrinsic n/p type semiconductors :(

    Physics marathon (hsc)

The significance??? I only know how he did it! lmao, will a significance be understanding cathode rays better...? :P how could you be so sure it's going to be Ideas to implementation heavy?

    Physics marathon (hsc)

Weren't the x-rays diffracted by the structure, which showed the alignment/spacing between the atoms in the crystalline structure? Which allowed further mathematical analysis etc..? still a band 6 answer i assume :D

    Physics marathon (hsc)

Definitely C just find out the current which ends up being 22.86 then substitute the values into f=bil

Could we just re-state the Meisner effect for this experiment as it uses semiconductors?

    Physics marathon (hsc)

I know this sounds funny to ask.. But i never knew.. To determine the magnitude of the force between two parallel conductors, the formula is B = KI / d Which formula's did they derive that formula from? I've messed around with k/d = kII/d and f = BIL sin theta but yeah, not working also...

Friend chose different IPT elective in trials, got full marks but received 0 marks

Re: Friend chose different IPT elective in trials, got full marks but received 0 mark Yea the IPT test has finished, and yes his is a very good IPT student, he really knows his stuff. So you believe he still has the option to fix it? The test still stays in the teachers hands and has not been...

    Carry on Calculation Errors

Not going to do us good when we're not in uni because we kept on not worrying about 3 markers lol

2 years of physics in 1?

Believe it or not, but people begin learning the physics course properly a few months before the HSC trials or exams lol! I didn't even bother learning the year 11 stuff, it's either covered again in year 12 or it's just basic knowledge, just go through learning how to use formula's and...

Friend chose different IPT elective in trials, got full marks but received 0 marks

Re: Friend chose different IPT elective in trials, got full marks but received 0 mark He started thinking about it and started stressing out, at first he accepted it because he thought they were correct, but now after i spoke to him, i advised him that it's bullcrap and he deserves his marks.

Friend chose different IPT elective in trials, got full marks but received 0 marks

As the title states, he chose a different elective topic, got full marks, but received 0 marks because it wouldn't be the 'same' in the report. At the end of the day he didn't care, he just want the mark/rank to increase, regardless of what it says on the report to which topic. From what i...
