yeah, except for gen ed. u cant pick science gen ed, its basically so u learn stuff from another faculty. and thers a list UNSW Handbook - think it should be 12 units of gen ed. so u cant choose the science ones.

coz thats what you do to solve the question. u want an equation in the form of 8x^3-6x-1=0 so u let cos 3@=1/2. its merely to solve the equation. if it was say, another number instead of -1, u would sub in something else.
