What is it??? Why is the ATAR so low for it? (At UTS only 80) It looks like a hard course and the prerequisites are mx1. Also, is Mathematics and Finance the same as Applied Finances in Macquarie? Thanks to anyone who replies.

I got 17 for MC :( Hoping for 36-38 for SR and praying for a 35+ for ER so i'm guessing 85-90+, really need that 90+ though..

You won't get the mark for the recruitment part, but you'd definitely get marks for the strategies, just depends on your reasoning. If it's valid, you'll get 3 marks for both and only lose a mark for that section, but depends on the leniency of HSC markers

Wow thanks! That's a great relief! And yeah, been studying hardout for Physics so hopefully I can get an external band 6. I think I got about 50/70 for extension maths though... Anyway, as long as I can get over 85 i'll be over the moon. Thanks for replying!

90+ LOL I think the cut off is around 81-83 this year. No one's factoring in the fact that the state might have done bad. Bored Of Studies has like a small percentage of the state, many of which are excellent students.

It's mainly because the test was easier than usual (even though i found it not as easy as i expected), just wondering, would an 86-90 be adequate enough for a band 6?

If you think you've written a great essay, then that means your stimulus response is good too. At worst you'll get about 86 if you've done good for all the other questions, you'll be fine! :) Band 6 for sure!

I don't think subjects can be aligned down, i hope not anyway. I'm guessing the cut off will be around 83-84, we're only factoring into account the percentage of the state that did well, most of the people on Bored of Studies do well, but there are alot of people who did bad aswell...

How'd you deal with the stimulus response? Didn't you need HR strategies for that too?

I wrote 10 pages for stimulus response and 6 pages for the case study response. But in the end it really doesn't matter about how many pages you write, as long as the content within it is good you'll get the marks. I knew people who wrote 10 pages and got 15/20 and people who wrote 3 pages and...

Does anyone know how many marks i'd lose if i forgot about the key recommendations in the executive summary? I forgot about it, but I asked my teacher and apparently HSC markers don't mark on the key recommendations anymore Other then that, good exam, hopefully get a raw of > 90
