URGENT: radioisotopes in medicine: benefits and problems

The more free radicals (or ions) in your body the worse it is for you, most common example under cooked red meat. I can't see how varying oxidation states could help the patient to much, although if the organic molecules of the diseased organ had markers that attracted Tc-99m it could be very...

Ranking in terms of number of ppl

The system isn't perfect, just the way it is. Work hard at both internal assessments and your exam and let the mofo's in the offices worry about the rest. Learnt the hard way. Cheers.

Does the school you go to REALLY count?

I believe that when people say that a "smarter" cohort pulls your marks up is because they will produce higher HSC EXAMS MARKS which will in turn be adopted by you (depending on your HSC ASSESSMENT RANKING) and produce your HSC MARK. I'm not to sure about scaling, wether is exists or not...

    new medical science student !!!!

Cunny Funt, lol, love it! The B med sci goes for 3years? If not possible now by that time he'll put in as much work, if he is serious, and who knows what could happen. Right now, based on HSC marks, losers got a point. Cheers.

    Equilibrium!

Equilibrium is a dynamic process meaning it is never at rest, products become reactants, reactants become products. According to Le Chatiler's (check spelling) principle if a system at equilibrium is distrubed then the system will adjust to minimise that distrubance. There are three things that...

Does your subject impact on your UAI results?

Thanks for clarifying. Just shows that some people might get their hopes up for a good UAI when they receive their results, my cousin is an example. He recieved his HSC this year (subjects Agriculture, Standard English, D&T, Biology and PDHPE) all were ranging from 70-78. He recieved a UAI of...

Does your subject impact on your UAI results?

Excuse me if im wrong, because it's a bit late and i might not have read something right. Isn't your UAI calulated based on your ranking against the cohort you complete your HSC with? Because i did 2exams last year with 4 to come (pathways) and that was my understanding... Also, excuse...
