Is ENGG1805 compulsory for electrical engineering?

It's compulsory, but it is also useless (and easy as well). Don't bother attending lectures, just go to the labs and do the quizzes online. I got 87 without going to any of the lectures other than the first one. This worked for last year (most of my friends did this too and all got above D)...

    HSC Biology Dotpoint book

Hi, I'm selling the HSC Biology Dot point book (not the multiple choice one) - It has a fold on the cover, and half of the Communication optional topic written in pencil and pen, other than that it's brand new. Selling it for $20 Will be able to meet up at Town Hall or City for you to pick this...

    Usyd opal card registration problem

So for me, I went to the student office and spoke to the person in charge and he said that I could not apply because I'm a NZ citizen. Apparently a new rule came out late 2014 stating that NZ citizens are no longer eligible for concession (not just opal cards, but also train tickets etc).

    Usyd opal card registration problem

I'm fairly sure I had my detail filled in correctly. But I re-enrolled 3-4 weeks ago, could this be the problem? At that time the concession opal card was not out yet.

Hi, last night I tried to register for a concession opal card as an usyd student, but it said that my details were incorrect/different to the ones on my enrolment form. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks

    Physics in electrical engineering

Hi, I'm starting my second year of uni this year, and I want to take the advanced units of physics for my electrical engineering degree, but I'm not quite sure where I should go to apply for this. Can anyone help me out here? On this site, point 1, it says I'm able to do this online, but...

    Engineering/science degree problem

Hi, I was messing around with the "Sydney student" when I was checking for my marks, and under "Course details" it shows that I'm taking the engineering/science course, but in actual fact I'm taking the engineering/science (advanced). So should I be concerned? I've check with my friend who is...

    Number of advanced units needed?

Hi, does anyone know how many advanced units are needed if you are doing a combined degree of engineering and advanced science, in order to obtain the "advanced" part of the science degree? On this site it just says 96 credit points out of the 240 must be science units, but it doesn't specify...

    Benefits of taking advanced units?

Wow wtf.. I kept the advanced Maths thinking there is at least some benefit mark wise... LOL Guess I'm f*ed this semister for math then hahahahha Edit: It's too late to change to normal now isn't it? Since the last day to drop a unit was 15 days ago..

    Benefits of taking advanced units?

Quick question - is advanced math needed for electrical engineering?

    Benefits of taking advanced units?

I might just change to the standard version then, as I'm planning on majoring in Chemistry. Thank you all for your help!

    Benefits of taking advanced units?

    Yeah, it's the 31st I believe.

    Benefits of taking advanced units?

I see, so basically there do exist some sort of scaling right? I asked some 3rd year students and they said all that units are the same, there is no scaling involved - the lecturer also mentioned this in the first lecture.

    Benefits of taking advanced units?

But isn't that just because there are more smart people in advanced? So it's reasonable that there are moer D and HDs.
