i only take chem, and want to do med. eng is the only assumed knowledge, and chem is recommended. if you end up having to do the gamsat, you might as well study it closer to that time. you'll forget all the hsc knowledge, and besides half of the stuff taught at hsc level is probably useless.

yup. oh, maybe except music in yr7+8. (that was me :D) and maths in yr7. but from yr8 on shes been unbeatable. even the principal/deputies say she's unlike any other dux we've had before.

theres a girl at nsg class of 09 who i BET you will get 100 UAI and state rank in almost all (if not all) of her subjects. she's a beast. there hasn't been anyone in the recent history of nsg who could possibly beat her. if anyone can beat 497, its her :D

i understand they have trimesters, so finish the whole course in 4yrs and 8mnths. anyone know whether the course is good and how it compares with unsw/uws? and how high would UAI have to be?

^ i second that. dont do exams, you'll end up having to spend more time than you'd want on practise. if your parents want you to finisht those exams some day, wait til after the hsc.
