    Is tutoring necessary?

    Absolutely not.

    Modern History 2019 HSC

Definitely possible. I managed to stay in the mid-80s to low 90s throughout the year and got 88 raw in the HSC, but I think for a high achiever it would definitely possible.

    Could I get an offer?

I called USyd and they said there was a possibility that I get an offer. They said it's based on class sizes for the later rounds.

    Could I get an offer?

I see. Thanks so much. I much prefer the applied economics, so UNSW is my preference.

    Second Sem offers

Hi guys, Just wondering about the probability of receiving an offer into UNSW economics in the upcoming Apr 12th round. I know these questions can get annoying but I'm in a bit of a rush due to my upcoming census date. Econ at UNSW is 93 and with bonus points I have 91.75...

    Could I get an offer?

Thanks. If you think it's not likely, do you think I'd have more luck with UNSW Eco (93), where I have 2 BPs, putting me on 91.75?

    Could I get an offer?

I received an 89.75 ATAR in the 2017 HSC and I'm looking to apply for Economics at USYD (90). I know the cutoff is "fixed", but I've heard of many who received an offer below cutoff. Next offer round is Apr 12th, to start in Semester 2 and I'm only .25 below. What do you think...

UTS --> USYD Commerce (or UNSW) (89.75 ATAR)

Yep. I missed out on USYD economics by 0.25. UTS has been very strange. The content seems a little irrelevant and backward. Almost as if the content was watered down. It seems a little simple?

    Hard work vs. natural talent

It's a memory game. Use Acronyms and you'll be fine. However, there are students with 100% natural talent. I know people who didn't study half as much as I did, and yet achieved 98+ in the same subjects.

UTS --> USYD Commerce (or UNSW) (89.75 ATAR)

Hi guys, I was just wondering what the probability and results requirements to transfer from UTS to Commerce at USYD would be... My 2017 ATAR was 89.75 and as you know USYD Commerce is 95. What do you think would be the required results in 1st Year B Business at UTS required to transfer into...

Modern History 2017 HSC exam thoughts

Yeah I wrote a lot as well. I finished with about 20 minutes to go so I just kept writing my conflict essay - And I write really slowly. I think 3 hours is a lot if you get good questions. Maybe if you need to plan you could take up the whole three hours.

Modern History 2017 HSC exam thoughts

The poster said eat less wheat, so I assume if less wheat were consumed then more bread could be made. Like this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Food_Administration#/media/File%3AClean_Plate_Club_pic..png https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Food_Administration

Modern History 2017 HSC exam thoughts

Call me weird but I put (a) for Q1. (The bread one haha). It was a United States Food Administration Source. All of their posters focused on food shortages and wheat specifically.

Modern History 2017 HSC exam thoughts

I thought it was pretty good. Germany / Conflict in Europe questions were pretty generic though. Thought NESA could be a bit more specific. Overall quite happy. We did adaptions of Germany (b) for half yearly, and Conflict (b) for trials. Germany (b) is probably my favourite modern question...

Conflict in Europe- League of Nations essay question

You don't need to write about only the LON. The four points under European tensions (the dictatorships, appeasement, LON, Nazi-Soviet Pact) are all interdependent to an extent, you can write about how the LON led to/allowed the Nazi Soviet pacts, Dictatorships of Hitler (Czechoslovakia) etc...
