Job Advice (I'm a current maccas employee)

Well, perhaps do a Certificate II in Retail Operations via Maccas? They should offer it as those in-store traineeship things. If you can get that + some customer service skills, you should be prepared enough :)

Red light cameras and speed cameras

Not true. Red light camera only detects if you're over the white painted line on the road? (correct me if i'm wrong) and hence only detects if you're gone over the line when the lights flip red.

    UAI cutoff questions

I think class of '09 will have the biggest competition for places yet. It really depends on what courses people pick this year for their HSC. I began my sex education in year 6. The content that was taught were how babies were made, reproductive organs..and I think that was it. It only ran for about four lessons at the end of the year. But sex education should be taught at year 7 straight away instead of dragging part I, II, III...

If you can get rank 1 , there a point going all out?

You should maximise your marks as much as possible. It just gives you extra practice and sort of an idea how the HSC exams are going to be like. If you can improve, why not? It gives you an edge over other students. My two cents :p

    Dilema with Schooling

To OP: I was in the same situation as you. I got offered a place at a top 50 selective high school and decided whether to go or not. I asked around my friends at my old school and my teachers and they all said to accept the offer because it could maximise my potential. But, if you don't like...
