    "DON'T do medicine"

I'm related to an opthalmologist. He earns a crapload and yes, once you get there, the job is pretty cushy (although I wouldn't say 'without breaking a sweat'. Operating on someone's eyes always carries a fair bit of risk :P) Having said that, he was about.. 40 I think before he could reach...

    Erm... estimate your mark ...

Ok looking at Terry Lee answers, I think I got about 75-78. Will that let me scrape a 97?

    Aligning

I don't think a 70-72 would be 97? I thought it would be closer to 95? Not sure..

    Module B Hate Thread

Yay I focused on Hamlet too! But I mainly analysed the extract instead of the whole conclusion but hopefully I conveyed enough so that I don't get marked down :s

    Module B Hate Thread

Is it ok for Hamlet if I focussed on the extract to the rest of the play, and not the 'closing scenes'?

    Creative Writing: Plagiarising

My teacher told us she reported two cases of plagiarism last year: - one where two students in a bundle had the same story - one where a student had modified a story from a textbook and my teacher recognised it Don't think that they don't ever report it!

    Unseen texts last question

How do you guys structure your response to the last 5/6 marker question? Do you have an intro/conclusion? And do you aim to do 1 technique per mark? And if you are comparing two texts, do you try to intertwine your response?

    Phys pracs?

Wow build a simple motor? That sounds quite hard in the time frame unless they give you instructions lol. Any way that I can study for pracs other than revise what validity/ reliability/ accuracy mean?

    Phys pracs?

Hey so I have a prac test soon and am just wondering if past students could maybe tell me some of the pracs they did just so I can have an idea of what possible things we might be tested on? The teacher has hinted it will be a motors and generators prac but not sure what sort of things they...

Would anyone know the rough cut-offs in terms of raw marks that are needed for a 98/99? I'm thinking 80+/84 for 99 and... 77+/84 maybe for 98? No idea really though but would love to know...

    Lost In Translation

Just wondering... how are we meant to approach the local vs global in Lost in Translation? I see a lot of global and local values clashing in the setting of the movie i.e. Japan but not sure how it relates to the characters? I can sorta see that Bob and Charlotte are disconnected from the global...
