    Mentally washed out...?

Man I feel like an idiot. Earlier today I expressed a significant amount of rage in a thread about a teacher moving me in roll call. But honestly, being insulted made me think a little about myself. Recently, I feel like everything is wrong. I get upset really easily (I got so upset over a...

    Teachers in Selective Schools?

There were lots of spare chairs on the other side of the room, but most people were in the centre area, so I wanted to get a spare one. But she said to just sit there. Time to practice: Oh well, life's a bitch.

    Teachers in Selective Schools?

Well, that was actually legit. Perhaps I just can't take being ordered to do something. Perhaps learning to say "Oh well" and give up is needed here. Okay, thanks I guess?

    Teachers in Selective Schools?

    Now that's just rude.

    Teachers in Selective Schools?

I still fail to see the mistake I made that I had to be punished for?

    Teachers in Selective Schools?

And why do you think that? EDIT: Legit question - what did I actually do wrong?

    Teachers in Selective Schools?

I'm fairly certain this teacher will do this to me every roll call from now on.

    Teachers in Selective Schools?

I'd have to say, I'm a bit disappointed in one of the new teachers at my school. I can't find a chair in my usual spot. I stand for a bit. She tells me to move to sit with other students. I say "Oh, it's okay, I can stand here for a bit". She insists I do so, and thus I do. Another teacher comes...

If I suck at maths, is it worth it to do 4 unit?

Admittedly if you have time troubles, then 3 unit is much harder than 4 unit (not joking here, slow workers have many issues with 3 unit but not 4 unit). But if it's content, then avoid 4 unit, you can't really do well unless you are a good learner at maths.

    Absolute Values

    Just fiddle with it: y = |1-x| y = ±(1-x) If you take out -1, the ± is the same (-1 * +1 = -1; -1 * -1 = +1): y= ±(x-1) y = |x-1|

    Mathematics vs. MX1

3 unit is basically 2 unit with more fun. Honestly, 3 unit maths isn't very hard, it's just that people spend too much reading and not enough doing. The HSC paper for 3 unit is more about time consumption than difficulty. Practice tons of questions (from a solid book like Cambridge 3U) and learn...

Best maths book for HSC : GENERAL MATHS/ AND 2 UNIT

2 unit: Fitzpatrick is excellent, but Cambridge has some fantastic examples. I'm more inclined to Cambridge + school textbook for both easy questions and some harder ones. GM: I have no idea.

    Units in Chemistry textbooks

Hi everyone, I just did a practical exam for Chemistry and lost marks for writing g/mL as the unit of density. While I was in fact dealing with a solid (sand), Conquering Chemistry features a practical where the density of ice (a solid) is measured in g/mL, on top of the densities of all the...

    IPT textbooks/ study guides?

Hey everyone, just wanted to ask about the books that people have used to study for IPT in the past. Some of the ones I have heard of are: Heinemann Excel Samuel Davis If anyone has any advice about this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
