the ONLY thing that ESL is different from advanced is that when the HSC marker mark you essay, they KNOW eng is your second language. The content is the SAME! And I know some one who do ESL with an ATAR above 90!!!!! God bless her and I am aiming to that! :-) P.S You should choose Advanced...

You may want to change Eng standard to Advance because my teacher told me that the Advance course is a little bit higher than standard and you can get high mark in HSC. I am not going to do any of them so just to let you know. :-)
