It would have required u to do umat...and do very well in umat unless youre hoping on getting into uws and u live in the gws region. Then ur right in the hunt ! For UNSW with that uai umat probably needs to be 190 ish-200.

I just used to write down a weekly goal list and i tried to stick to that. The problem is at the start u may tend to be a bit optimistic about how much u can actually do in a week but its easy to overcome. And there is no set rule as to how much u ahve to study each night ect. Just do as much...

I think the best thing to do is for people to find out what works best for them. The best way to do this is to try various methods doing past papers under EXAM CONDITIONS ! I think i did around 10-15 trial papers...then i ran out of time before the hsc lol so i just looked at hsc...

Premiers awards arent always a good reflection on a persons uai. I know many people who get a premiers that end up with uai's of 94-97 and people that miss out on it and get 99.45 ~ Its a nice award for the collection though :haha:

From my experience text book questions arent like the ones u get in the hsc with the exception of integration and volumes. Just learn the topic and then hit past paper q's asap. You can get past paper q's topic by topic from the hsc and cssa exams.
