i think its eddy currents. because the conductor moves in the magnetic field, it experiences changing flux. so the current generated produces a force that OPPOSES the motion by lenz's and hence ur palm points UP. thus electrons are at P by right hand rule. anyone agree?

I think 5 is B. if u look at the universal law of gravitation, F decreases with increasing distance. As for 9 i think it is A. using right hand rule and lenz's law, opposing force goes up and field is into the page...so positive current goes to the right and electrons are at in the opposite side...

From memory Macqurie said pH adjustment is done AFTER. But i see where people are coming from about adding lime --> raises pH. I put pH adjustment afterwards ...by the look of it i think i've gotten it wrong.pH adjustment before chlorination is a bit odd. Either way I'd say its an ambiguous...

its a positive impact since hes getting a lot of marks, your cohort's total will go up, which will help ur internal mark. In the end you will get the top internal mark whereas the other guy gets the top external mark, and you get your own external of 65 watever that aligns to...yeh.

I would think the mark for an E4 would be lower this year. This year's paper wasn't hard, but it was time consuming compared to other papers (95-08) so I think probably mid to high 50s.
