Do you tell people your test results?

People hated me for telling them I got a bad mark. I felt like it was. Probs annoyed cos is get 85+ and lose stupid marks - they get 51% and they're excited. LOL. Not many people got good marks at my school... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you match the mark in the actual HSC exams you should be fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    More effective way to study???

I wasn't motivated until I realised I needed to get an ATAR good enough for commerce. That's got me going 2 weeks before the trials and the HSC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

International law and state compliance is confusing me!!

5 main countries have the right to Veto; republic of china, Russia, USA, France and UK. They all have to agree to intervene. The veto power gives them the right to disagree to intervention. Intervention can cause a range of issues and in such an advanced world in terms of technology and...

    question on human rights topic?

Yes, that's right! Pretty much can't do anything about it. The UN has tried to develop it's doctrine on R2P - right to protect - but it's still a bit sketchy. In theory it should allow military/non-military intervention in recognised states that do not uphold human rights. Do a little...

    question on human rights topic?

I'm a little confused about your first question but here's a bit on the criminal court. The international criminal court is also another story. A country may recognise the UN and be on general assembly but may not recognise the ICC. You would need to ratify that too. Even if the ICC...

    question on human rights topic?

That's the problem with international law - it's not enforceable because of state sovereignty. This means leaders of a nation are not required to make international law applicable to their nation. However, to be recognised as a "state" by the UN - they must to an acceptable extent recognise...

Doing past papers- Handwriting vs Typing

During the HSC, I didn't prepare like everyone else and on a good day (my writing was pretty small - 15-20 words a line) I would write roughly 5 pages. Usually it would equate to about 1000 words. I could never write more. I never prepared enough anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    How to study for uni?

I guess heaps of people didn't make it because buses yday were severely delayed by road closures... I was the only one to walk in late. 'twas awkward :( Some people are so confident in there answering questions. Even if they're wrong or going on a random tangent.

    How to study for uni?

Well... The international kids in my lecture were really involved. Then again my lecture yday only had 50 people, maybe less. But I dunno how they'll be in tutes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When did you/ are you going to get your driver's license?

LOL. I got my L's in year 10 and an now a first year uni student. Still haven't gotten my P's. I've done all my hours and can definitely drive but it's finding time to get a driving lesson & booking my test. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Buses during peakhour

Probably long because of the delays on Anzac parade. Three lanes were closed and killed the traffic. I was late to my first lecture by 25 mins. 6pm-ish so many buses didn't make their timetables. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Labs week 1 unsw

Good that you know now. Cos the inconvenience of walking there and then realising when no one rocks up would be annoying. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
