    UTS(good or bad)

    Isn't UTS very practical-based? I think that's a major plus.

    UTS(good or bad)

I would argue that USYD is the most racially diverse of the universities. Don't judge it by the Open Day. That's a skewed representation of reality.

How do the preferences work ?

You would have to wait for the next round for an offer for Radiography.

Drivers Licence RTA DKT Test tips?

The question bank is exactly the same between the practice test and the real test. The only difference is that you have to sit in front of a touch screen monitor instead of using a mouse.

    Taking Notes in Uni

It's just so darn hard to find consistency in the laptop market. Apple are overpriced. Dell and HP have suspect build quality. Toshiba's are built like tanks but aren't very nice to use. Annoying.

    Taking Notes in Uni

I have a solid all-rounder HP laptop and it weighs less than a comparable 15" MBP. You can't deny that the power in a Macbook is overpriced compared to all the other alternatives available on the market. Weight has got fuck all to do with why Macs would be preferred. What bugs me though is all...

    Taking Notes in Uni

You'll feel right as home at uni then. I still can't believe that ratio of OSX machines to Windows machines at uni is so damn high.

Your longest lec/tut hours without breaks ?

Out of curiosity, what's with UNSW and all those later hours? From experience, most of USYD's lectures and tutes are done by 5 but I hear many of my New South acquaintances staying till late.

    Images in thread

Images don't seem to be working in posts in the 'Sport' sub-forum. The javascript tool also seems to be different compared to this sub-forum as well.

    Semester 2, 2011 Results Thread

To do honours, I need a credit average so marks like that leave little leeway if there's a unit I truly fuck up in.

    The Football Thread

Re: The Official Football Thread I can't understand why English is a requirement for being signed? It may be Liverpool's strategy and fair play that they have a strategy, but I get the feeling that this will just result in over-priced purchases. Bargains are to be found outside the league...

    Interesting University Assignments

Contrary to popular thought, university assignments may have some interesting quirks in their outlines making them an engaging task to undertake. This thread to discuss any university assignments (or high school if you wish) which you found enjoyable to do. Here's mine: USYD - GEOS1002...

Your longest lec/tut hours without breaks ?

Also, if you find yourself struggling, you don't have to adhere to the timetable provided. Find what works for you. Lectures are interchangable so attend the one which is best suits your scheduling. Tutorials often involve interactions regardless of what unit you are taking. This helps engage...

    The Football Thread

Re: The Official Football Thread 1) Was it necessary to bring in a striker from the EPL? Many other clubs have brought in strikers from overseas leagues and come through with success (e.g. Torres from Atletico). Of course the common argument is that players in the EPL are accustomed to the...

Why don't we just share the 2018 World Cup with Russia and call it a day? :)

Your longest lec/tut hours without breaks ?

Similarly, if you know that you are going to have a long day in advance, you can go to uni prepared for it. For example, you may get some extra sleep so you don't feel tired during classes. Trust me and absolutezero with this, long hours without breaks aren't too tough provided you know what...
