    Rate the MQ economics degree.

Thats a Credit average. 2 = Pass average 3 = Credit average 4= Distinction average (or HD average, MQ doesnt see the distinction betwen D and HD for GPA) By the time you finished 3rd year core, you will be thinking like an economist, not in terms of throwing formulae but analysing...

    400/500 Law Electives

Abot dispute resolution, the textbook "Essential series" is worht the money, but the casebook and materials is just too much for a thin book, your better off borrowing it......there was 4-5 copies in the library that u can borrow and renew 8 weeks at a time.

    MKTG202 and ECON210

The lectuer i had is Indian and speaks with a rather heavy accent, as for ilectures, i doubt they used it. AS for the maths, its no more complicated than what you had in 200, perhaps even lighter (less formulae and more theory) but the utility functions and graphs et. al. are still there...

    MKTG202 and ECON210

ECON210 is an extension of ECON200, it basically applies everything u learnt in 200 to government economics. Its very theoretical you will be doing pareto again, social welfare functions etc. etc. Utility and taxes etc. logrolling, public choice and all of that. Is it fun? No, it wasnt my...

Re: Semester 2 Results Predictions / Final Results As for me, this is perhaps the worst semester, 11CP = all credits, GPA sinks abit lower each semester........ As for HD's they are elusive! only 3 in my whole program!!

Holidays- How are the plans going?

Get my act together, get the CV, resume and cover letters ready for the summer clerkships and also apply in the short term for the A-G department clerkship..... And i think i may need new glasses - books like Blackshield and Williams and dozens of journal articles amount to some serious damage!!

    400/500 Law Electives

Werent those BCA legislation done and interpreted under s 51(xx) corproations power? I could have sworn Frank said something about the irony of Higgins J saying that s51(xx) could augment s51(xxxv) but the end result was opposite, use s 51(xx) to break the power..... This course as Frank...

    400/500 Law Electives

The question aked us, (imo) weeks 8-9, the rationale of the framework and the cases which corresponds with rougly the same amount of the content the work from week 3-4 + half of week 5. To say it includes the framework+cases and BCA, would extend the 2nd question to 4 weeks!! which is impossible...
