You must be careful applying as a non-standard as most uni's have a quota and many uni's such as UAdel, Monash, etc do not accept non-standards. Also you must keep your options open in case your non-standard application fails, such as post-grad med or finishing your current degree, etc.

Don't jog/run if your trying to loose weight this is a high cardio endurance exercise. It's more effective if you take longer brisk walks if your trying to loose weight. Swimming isn't bad either since it's not overly strenuous and not high cardio, but jogging is more conveniant, i guess.
