ohhh lasagne if I was more awake, I'd totally be up for some red meat right now... (everyone know the feeling when you just want to sink your teeth into some meat? maybe I'm low on protein and this is my body's reaction rofl)

It's ok since the crutches can happily fit between the cracks (so entirely on either one surface or the other), not my favourite choice of ground for crutches though (but then what is :p) Must admit, it is funny though that people don't use the library lift more. I wonder if there's something...

oh, I meant the stairs just outside of the library - the ones leading into that quad area. :) Thanks for mentioning that anyway though - lifts are the bomb!

Crutches + uni = suckiness. Many thanks to all people who helped me out today - much appreciated! :) Breakfast: Skipped. Was going to get a roll and a newspaper from the Quarry, but I kinda almost fell down the stairs on my way there so decided to give it a miss :/ Lunch: grabbed an orange...

    online study group?

I don't think there are a lot of HSC 2007's on the forums just yet :) On a general note though, the BOS forums do/were intended to facilitate group study, and have often been used as such in the past :) (I have happy memories of this during my HSC) It's all up to how you use the forums :)

What kind of stuf u can't take into the HSC?

No, that's not true... it's too costly for the board, not to mention they ask students to "please use blue or black pen" (implies students provide pen) And yes, if you have a medical condition, you can apply for special considerations. If your eating etc may disrupt other students, they can...

    myth busters---2006 hsc

Re: Contribute to Myths of the 2006 HSC! Hmm just to add to what others said above - it's really up to the individual. Now, I *can* and have been able to store a lot of information in my head at short notice. This is a skill particularly useful for multiple-choice based exams when you have...

The Idiot’s Guide to studying just prior to, and during the HSC exams

^ By all means, it's fine to be "ahead of schedule". But so long as you're going through your stuff thoroughly (and by that I mean actually writing up notes, taking the time to memorise those notes, then apply studied knowledge to practice papers as opposed to frantically flicking though class...

Q for media and creative writing students

hmm I think the original question was really in shambles :/ I probably meant to say "fuck. The HSC english syllabus or the teaching of it, or both is even more screwed up than I thought it was." You even come across people passionately defending the syllabus and treating their teacher's words...

hahaha I try not to do the whole "diet" thing. Both my mind and my body can't take on a lot of new things at once without crashing/burning, so it's just a matter of making many small changes over a long period :) Think less about certain foods you're going to restrict from d/m/yy, and more...

Julnhi - if you've been eating a lot of bananas and your period is coming soon, it's likely you're dealing with a water retention problem. I "put on" about three kilos once because I was eating heaps of bananas :( It went away eventually, but was scary while the weight was there :eek...
