You'll prob get a letter some time before O-week.
Don't worry about it, with your marks, you're definitely in. If you don't et any letter or email or whatever by O-week, then just call them up and they'll fix it.
didn't find those guides to be that good for chem.
Conquering+Jacaranda textbooks+dotpoint (short ans version - to copy down some answers for which the former two textbooks aren't the best at) worked quite well for me.
Though HSC doesn't matter for me anymore, I'm confused lol. So from the way you've said it, internal assessment mark gaps don't matter at all? I would have assumed it matters since schools are instructed to submit internal marks, rather than ranks alone.
Oh, I see. Haha it would have sucked for me if I needed 50 in section 2. UWS rejected me for interview because of that too lol. Not that I ended up going to either of those anyway.
Given that what she said is/are true, why would they be less valid?
e.g. "Lots of famous people lecture at sydney: most have phD's from Oxford etc. and the number of Rhodes Scholars, Prime Ministers, High Court judges etc that have come out of Sydney are unrivalled"
"My cousin is a partner in a...
Hmm I'm not sure because since then, I just neglected all Korean societies (since also from what I hear, they're just all about 1.hierarchy and 2.drinking). I like drinking but I've heard that they are pretty much the ONLY sort of events they have. I might be wrong on this though. Btw I'm...
and how does that external organisation know anything about the unis', for example, teaching quality? =through graduate surveys. Hence what students say.
I know the sample size is small but GUG doesn't even state their sample sizes (and gives some dodgy (hard-to-believe) stats like 0% vs...
lol GUG seems to generally rate UNSW higher than USYD but have a look at another website by the same company/organisation (Hobsons):
USYD
http://www.rateyouruni.com.au/provider/view/12
UNSW
http://www.rateyouruni.com.au/provider/view/10
How inconsistent? USYD sounds a lot better there.
Yeah most Korean guys are like that. 2 years ago, I went to USYD O-week and lol, one of the Korean societies there at the time had this t-shirt with "오빠라불러줘" on the back... I'm a male myself but I was like "ewww...." and decided not to join any Korean societies from then on.
It's indeed about...
I know I'm not the one who's been asked this question but year 12 bio isn't needed for sure (well, I haven't done it and I've coped well with biochem, pharm, etc).
But basic chem knowledge, I'd say, is essential. At the very least year 11 chem and some parts of year 12 chem like acids and bases...
While that's mostly true, some lecturers are quite shit and I've found that I don't learn anything much even if i go to those lectures. Also, some people WILL indeed study at home for it, e.g. me for MATH2965 at usyd.
So I'd say only skip lectures if you are sure it doesn't help much/you know...
Oh wait, EDIT: is this for experimental reports? in which case you'd be more specific. I replied as below assuming that you're writing your answer in an exam situation.
the short answer is no.
You don't generally need to specify conc or volume or mass, etc except very roughly (e.g. 5 drops...
