Can someone explain this 2012 hsc question to me? The answer provided is D, yet it makes no logical sense. The question clearly outlines a step-down transformer ((20V to 2V)) yet in D; they show a step-up transformer. As far as my knowledge of physics goes, the ratio of turns should be identical...
Can you use 3u methods to solve 2u questions? Would you be deducted marks if you came to the right conclusion but like in 2-3 lines using 3u methods as opposed to using 2u methods?
