Yes, be aware that you are on holidays - the very last long holiday before the HSC (not like 2 wks holiday).
There will be enough time to both relax and make differences by working hard right now.
Scared of stuffing up?--->study more
Too much stress?--->relax sufficiently, then study more
I currently live near Hurstville.
We are going to rent so we prob don't want too expensive areas.
Thanks heaps to everyone (esp philphie and jaimebien) who replied to my thread! (except one person)
You were of great help although I'd still have to discuss things with my family/research...
Hi, I'm thinking of moving to an area from where I can easily commute to Usyd.
Which area would be the best in terms of:
transport (close to the nearby train station and easy to get to Usyd by e.g. bus or train), shops, safety, and quiet environment?
Thanks.
P.S. Going to move into a...
Alpha is down, beta is up (OH group at the right end)
You need to know:
Simplified beta glucose and cellulose structures
molecular formula
You don't need to know:
technical names (i.e. beta-1,4-glycosidic)
Hmm, I see. Yeah, I completely agree with you on this. Indeed, maths is imperative in science.
I didn't know what NQE was and so I just looked it up and it seemed like a very good exam that tests both theory and maths.
Yeah, probably those who can get high marks in the HSC but low marks in...
That's quite debatable. If adding maths will ensure the true assessment of students' abilities in science, you are sort of assuming that science=maths.
Science utilises mathematics as an essential tool but science is NOT maths.
IMO, it's important for students to be able to relate maths used...
You can't expect a textbook to cover it such that you can suddenly become an expert on it.
Rather, as your teacher suggested, it's a matter of practice (and aptitude).
But indeed, there are certain rules that are used more often than others.
These include:
angle in the same segment
angle in...
Hmm, I see. Yeah, that's true.
And with 99.85, it's hard to fail to get into any course except Dean's scholarship stuff and the ones requiring other things such as the UMAT.
So I think you would get in.
It's true that one needs 99.95 to be offered a combined med interview, but soon after interview, the one in charge of combined med at Usyd contacted successful interviewees and let them know that they were offered guaranteed places.
At least, that's what happened this year.
haha, thanks
Conquering Chemistry is the most popular chem textbook for Year 11 and Year 12 and is pretty good at theory parts.
However, I think Jarcaranda Chemistry (which is newer) is more thorough and sp I think it's good to have both Conquering Chemistry and Jarcaranda Chemistry and use them...
