    Apparently first year arts (adv.) students can do second year subjects in second semester with a waiver signed by Glenda Sluga.

    I'm also doing Arts Adv. this year. I'm also confused about doing second year subjects in first year. I still need another subject which is being filled with Narratives of Romance and Adventure (which sounds boring) at the moment.

    There was a table of freebies from the Union in the Great Hall during enrolment. They had ad-filled student diaries there.

    Books turned into movies

    Books are almost always better than the movies but one exception that I can think of right now is Bridget Jones. Horrible, horrible books. The Emma Thompson Sense & Sensibility is far better than the book as well.
