I'm a bit n00b on this, but what is involved in changing the "shift points"? I hear my cousins all talk about how they modify it.. but don't really know what it means. As for the Insurance ppl... aren't they able to investigate the crash stuff?

I don't think there's much point in me getting premium since the only thing beyond forums I do here, is contribute notes... and there's not really much use to me in having one click download links now is there? Good luck to BoS in generating some more revenue though :)

Caitlin was pretty good- don't know who gave me such a bad impression. She was kinda funny, but I think the material is just dry in general, so she has to work even harder to make it interesting.

As logical as that sounds, if the cost of getting a brand which is good is only a little bit more... maybe over time I will appreciate it? I don't think the price difference is very great (<$50) and if it means I'm getting a much better quality product or something which I'll appreciate more in...

I think that's part of the reason why they started implementing them into the front grill.

I've heard it in the store before but whilst I think I've got a good ear, I probably can't tell the difference between Pioneer and MTX.

How shit are we talking? I (being the shallow person I am) just want something a little bit brighter than stock, and something which'll look nice... how much should I be expecting to spend? I'd like to keep it under $100 for the pair.

(Bump) Quick Q... I remember you buy them in pairs so does this mean I should buy one pair and replace only two (of the four) bulbs in my car? I wonder which ones to replace....

I thought premium burns better (like Ciel said) and that means there will be performance improvement since you need less fuel or something to do the same number of km (assuming the engine can make use of it?)... I know in cars like Astra, if you put in premium petrol, you get like.. a bonus kW...

I think it's meant to be a wolf in sheep's clothing :P SP23 is a pretty decent car- but it wasn't really suited to me, and back when I wanted it, it wasn't cheap.

*follows your advice* I read the manual today and it says "Avoid harsh acceleration for the first 1000km", also says "Avoid harsh braking for the first 300km".

LOL I just need a 12"... I thought Pioneer or if I am willing to splurge a bit, Punch P2 was the way to go. So is MTX a decent brand? The casing looked nice.

Oops.. yep MTX- I think that's it; the guy at Stratty kept telling me that if I use that instead of Pioneer, I can get "much more powerful sound" for the same price. I keep thinking of MX as in that free newspaper they give out in the city ><

Thanks for that info about amps- I didn't know... The Rockford and the Pioneer both only accepted RCA inputs- never really thought of asking are there any which don't need that. Is mx audio a good brand?
