let say if i change my friggin network provider because telstra sucks balls, do i have to set up the wireless router again? Oh, would wireless router affect the speed that it transfer information? in another word would it speed up my internet speed if i get a new router?

From a youtube vid my brother showed me, downloading 1 gig file only takes approx 5 minutes in korea... how come it takes like... 5 hours here? Is the government restricting some shit so we have to pay moar or is it just that Telstra sucks balls?
