I've heard that Griffiths dentistry gives preference to queenslanders but i can't find that anywhere on their site. I know a lot of people who are applying through both QTAC and UAC even though applying through only UAC is fine, can anyone tell me why they do this?
Whoever who has studied/studying renewable energy in uni (preferably in UNSW), what are your thoughts on the experiences it has given you? Has it given you a tough search for jobs or an easy one? Do you see this field expanding a lot any time soon? (maybe 20-30 years in the future?
A man in a rowing boat is presently 6km from the nearest point A on the shore. He wants to reach as soon as possible a point B that is a further 20km down the shore from A. If he can row at 8km/hr and run at 10km/hr, how far from A should he land?
That leap in the proof between the pages (...and since P lies on the tangent at B....But the first identity shows that A..)
I don't understand how the first identity (and i dont even know which identity it's talking about) shows that A lies on xx0=2a(y+y0).
Please clarify this proof for me
P and Q are the points t=p and t=q on the parabola x=2at, y=at2
There was a question asking me to find the equation of the normals at to the curve at P and Q
Then this: Prove that p3-q3=(p-q)(p2+pq+q2)
By proving, I assume that I have to use the normals to work this out, but in case I assumed...
P and Q are the points with parameters p and q on the parabola x=2at, y=at2.
There were a few questions leading up to what PS+QS was, S being the focus point;
Given that PS+QS%3Da%28p%5E%7B2%7D+q%5E%7B2%7D+2%29 and PQ being a focal chord, show that...
The equation of the path of a bullet fired into the air is y=-20x(x-20), where x and y are displacements in metres horizontally and vertically from the origin. The bullet is moving horizontally at a constant rate of 1/2 ms-1.
How high does the bullet go, and how far away does it land?
Please...
Because the Great War was a mad, brutal, awful struggle, distinguished more often than not by military and political incompetence; because the waste of human life was so terrible that some said victory was scarcely discernible from defeat; and because the war which was supposed to end all wars...
A 1500 kg car is moving at 16 ms-1 when a net force of 300 N acts to slow the car. This force acts while the car moves through a distance of 120 m. The new speed of the car is:
(A) 19.5 ms-1
(B) 17.4 ms-1
(C) 14.0 ms-1
(D) 11.0 ms-1
