Are there any finance courses conducted online during the Summer School period at different unis?
And can these courses be recognised as contributions towards the finance major?
e.g. https://hbx.hbs.edu/Documents/FINSyllabus_November_06.pdf
Thanks.
Anyone heard anything regarding this masters degree?
I'm planning to pursue it upon completing my Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance).
It will be convenient given that its conducted all online and can be deferred to FEE-HELP.
Thanks
Background:
I've currently completed the following subjects (Keep in mind that I'm working ~40 hours a week and that doesn't even include the 2 - 3 hours travel time per day):
Semester 1 2016:
* ACCT1501
* MGMT1001
Semester 2 2016:
* ACCT1511
* ECON1101
* FINS1613...
I'm currently doing a Bachelor of Commerce and considering an Accounting/Finance or Accounting/TABL major.
What Summer school subjects would you recommend for a first year student (I wouldn't mind getting gen eds out of the way either)?
Will the price be triple/quadruple the normal...
Are there any free online courses (I've heard of website like edX) I could take whilst studying at university that would score me a good qualification (I wouldn't mind paying $50 + for the certificate at the end)?
From previous posts it seems that these are the prescribed textbooks:
ACCT1501: Financial Accounting - An Integrated Approach
ECON1101: Principles of Microeconomics
Would you recommend any other textbooks for these subjects or will those suffice?
+ Should I be buying the latest editions?
