Are sums and differences of angles 2U or 3U

Are sums and differences of angles 2U or 3U
Hey i just came across some formulas and i was wondering if anyone knew if Sums and Differences of angles are 2U or 3U, just dont want to learn them for the 2U paper if i don't have to. thanks.:) :confused:- funki_ell
