    Social Science/Law question

Got an offer for this course and have a few questions if anybody can help me! For the Social Science part of the degree, I am majoring in Politics. The handbook says that I need to do at least 12 units from POL300-399 which I will worry about later, as well as 2 SOC subjects which I can't do...

Help on International Studies/Law at UNSW

If you like to read then buy both. International Relations in the 20th Century had the biggest textbook with the smallest font. It got a bit boring after awhile because it's more straight history than anything. BUT if you're interested in that kinda thing you should totally get them, but wait...

Help on International Studies/Law at UNSW

I do International Studies at UNSW and major in International Business - it's not finance at all, although you can choose to fill your gen eds with finance subjects. It's more the management of global corporations than anything. In my experience, it's more of a Commerce/Arts degree without...

    Best tutoring colleges

seriously PRIOR was the BEST. i was there from yr 10-12 and had heaps of fun and learnt lots. they mark your work to the last decimal and it's actually challenging as opposed to working textbooks. and their workshops are so good, since you actually get to sit with a person and you can't leave...

    Help International Studs so so.

Can I just asked (even though I know first sem is over), how on earth did you fit that into a timetable? I did the glob stream as well (now changed to managementttttttt whoooop!) and I couldn't do my language cuz it kept clashing with one of the glsts. So I ended up doing psyc, which sucked and...

    4U maths destroys confidence

actually, i ended up with 85 for 4u when i skipped conics, mechanics, and harder 3u, which was more than half the hsc paper .. and i have never passed a single internal test. so i would say, yes- 'passing' or getting anything above 50% is pretty good and will scale you to somewhere near the top.

i have no idea what you are asking in most of your questions. 5. graphs can pass horizontal asymptotes once and only once. is that what you mean?

    Wanna study ext2 maths

uh, dont know about anybody else, but i definitely could not have done the 4u course by myself. i needed tutoring and we had about 9 x 80min periods per week. if you can grasp things quickly then you might as well give it a shot. you might want to ask one of your friends who have done 4u for...

what's the hardest topic in 4u?

    mechanics, hands down.

If you are in year 11, read this first.

i did my hsc this year and we got sprung with a graphs test before we started the topic too. dont worry if some kids can do it and you cant, graphs is an easy enough topic to learn once you grasp the concept. i can tell you that nobody in my class got mechanics apart from people who did...

If you are in year 11, read this first.

at my school you apply and then the head of department looks at all your past marks to determine whether you're good enough for 4u or not. i think this varies with schools, just ask your teacher, they'd be able to tell you.

    4U maths destroys confidence

4u is all about speed. i remember finishing complex, finally getting the gist of it and thinking, 'this is sweet' and then starting conics which freaked the f*ck out of me. the second you get a topic you move straight into another one- well, that was how it was with my school anyway. and i did...
