Last minute study?
All I really did was familiarise myself with my related text. Which pretty much just involves skim-reading one of Poe's, and looking at the blurb of my Agatha Christie novel. To be honest I haven't even done the latter.
I don't have much a problem with my prescribed texts...
I'm happy with mine as a thing of... written-ness.
But not as a thing to get good marks. Happy with a pass really.
Eh, my name's Thomas, I did a short story called The Duchess.
Interestingly enough that's the name of my favourite make of light aircraft. Aircraft have nothing to do with...
Yes by the end, my audacity got cold feet, so after changing the ending I trimmed it down quite a bit. I think it was not quite 150 so near enough, I think I'm safe.
It was more of a mental block anyway. Somehow I refused to let myself think anymore until I decided. Then I decided. The Duchess. Nice and simple and it works and I like it.
Yeah, and just in case the email site's blocked I'll bring a thumb drive. I'm so very glad I knock off early tomorrow -.-...
Oh alright. Aren't I lucky I'm highly suggestible at this hour?
I just hope I don't get marked down for it. Much.
In other news, I now have the mentally impairing frustration of lack of working ink cartridge. I really should not have assumed that the brand new cartridge would have worked...
I've had ones that I only planned to use as reference points.
And when my story was nothing like what I've got now.
I am also, truly terrible at titles.
Yeah hi, I fall into that category. Ahah...
I've got my Major Work downpat I think. Or as much as me and my hired editorial proofreadery people (I'm a slave-driver!) can take. I'm stumped on title though... and I've gotten to a point where I can't continue my RS until I find a title.
Grr...
I've not fully decided on mine. Heh. Well, I'm willing to sit on "Strands of Fate", only if I can't figure a superior title. And unfortunately for me, the fifth-word technique doesn't seem to mesh with my story... or my length of paragraphs.
