I never understand how scaling works.. like for different subjects ie Legal studies is much harder than english however in english some years a 64 got scled to a band 4 etc.. does anything like that happen for legal studies?

it doesnt have to be a 15 marker. It makes up a mark 0f 20. Preiovusly they have done a 10 a 6 and a 4 or a 12 and a 8. But expect anything because its not always 15 and 5. :)

I know how unfair is it. Its not a test of knowledge its a test of how many paragraphs can you remember then adapt to those to a question at, as you said, the speed of light. haha. And what about the poor people who write really slowly, like me :(

no, if you think about it. If you walked into any other exam and wrote the wrong answer there not going to give you marks because you misinterpreted the question. They are probably going to assume you learnt a preprepared essay. You'll get 15/20 if its any decent though.

I thought a question on the jakarta declaration would be in ours. I think there will be a question about the ottawa charter because there hasnt been one for a few years and if not the australias health 1998 thing. But its just a guess

its capped at 98 ish You'd have to get 95 to get an aligned HSC mark of 95. Because its an "easy" subject. well thats what i thought anyway

no i completely disagree with you. There is no possible way to get a 100 hsc mark for general maths or senior science. For senior science the max mark you can get is 98. something. I read it on the UAC site. Im not bullshitng.

also its harder to get a band 6 + in easy subjects because they mark so damn hard. Exams like chemistry and physics get sclaed up to the shithouse, when you get 60% you actually get a band 4-5 but when you get a 85 or anything lower in those "easy" subjects u get scaled down. So dont think that...
