hey guys, especially under-represented science students!! i'm doing a bachelor of philosophy, starting with the seemingly typical combo of chem, bio, physics, and maths. atm i'm thinking of majoring in chemistry. and moving into bruce hall on friday - the day's getting close.... at last!

Markers probably couldn't care less whether your writing is in capitals or not, especially if "i find it a lot easier and faster, and i would probably not be able to write as fast or as neat." They're not marking you on your handwriting; if they can read it, well, it's done its job. Then again...

They might ask a question like this: "These are the reactions for a lead-acid battery. Which happens at the anode?" But not like this "Write down the reactions for a lead-acid battery" i.e. you won't have to know specific information about both.

ZOMG! I think I'll still be cramming half an hour before the exam. Done shipwrecks and acids, done about a third of monitoring (atmosphere and water are such ridiculously huge topics!) and absolutely no production of materials... screwed...

IMO its safer to keep a couple of extra units. There's a couple of people in my 4U class, for example, who dropped their extra subjects too early, and have to keep doing it despite getting an average of 20-30%... But of course it depends on the person. If you're comfortable in 3U then it's...

hmm... the only study guide i have is for english, and it wasn't helpful in the slightest. just getting the textbooks is the way to go, i think.

that's absolute rubbish. it had nothing to do with 4U, it's just another 3U rate of change question.

i nearly missed the induction question too, just noticed it when i went back to the rates of change question. i guess after part a we were distracted by the big pretty diagram?

It says in the question that the domain is x<=1 Is the answer to 1d actually 12C8x2^8x3^4 or am I just incredibly stupid?

Re: How did you guys go? All right, except for question 7. I think I got a better raw mark in Q7 for 4U than Q7 for 3U. =/
