Thanks for that, quite helpful! So really the first year of any B Eng / B Comm is just the mandatory engineering units (eg Maths 1001) alongside accounting, in place of the engineering electives?

Just out of interest, how exactly does the B Eng / B Comm program work, in terms of units of study? reading the course handbooks for both faculties seems to mention only the number of credit points etc... while there seems to be mandatory units of study for the specialist engineering streams...
