Is It guna be Fun?? LEGAL

Legal studies was one of my favourite subjects last year - and had an awesome teacher. For me, it was very easy to get marks in if you put in a decent effort.

the perks of an awesome atar and very happy parents

Haha, my parents never thought i'd get 90+ ATAR... so they made a deal: If I was to get over 90 ATAR they would give me $1000. So now I'm $1000 richer, and apparently i have to put it towards my uni textbooks - and the rest I can use for whatever I want.

    Might be a stupid question..

I was thinking about doing biological forensics, but i know that chemistry plays a large part in it and I only did one science - biology - in year 12 (which i really loved). But if were to do that course, i would be quite behind everyone else, but if you are willing to do a chemistry bridging...

    3 band 6's but didnt get a 90?

LOL, I did no extension subjects... got 3 band 6s (general maths - 94, legal - 90, IPT - 90... all not that good scaling subjects), 1 band 5 (biology 84) and a band 4 in english adv. (79) and got 90.25 ATAR. Therefore it's possible :)

Why would one do general math?

I did mathematics for all of year 11... came about 7th/20 people with a final mark of around 73. Dropped to general maths for year 12 HSC and got a HSC mark of 94. Best thing i ever did for my HSC was to drop down to general... not only was my mark much better, it took minimal effort to get 94...

For people who don't do Ext. Maths or Ext. English, post up your estimated ATARs
