    Multiple choice

Mate, they will both be correct. I disagree. In A you are "isolating" in C you are "moving to quarantine". Which is same thing. Vaccination is long term solution as developing an immune response and producing memory cells takes time. If the the cows were vaccined but got the disease in a...

    Feedback Mechanism Question

Was a pritty easy paper but MC was difficult I think for state. Questions like 9 were superhard where everyone put O2 binds strongly to haemo etc when oxygen just doesnt bind strongly to haemoglobin...so the MC will sort people out. But I think maybe very high 80s, or mid 80s, donno.

    Multiple choice

Some is carbaminohaemoglobin...but small percentage. It was A. Oxygen does not bing STRONGLY to haemoglobin. The oxygen does not bind STRONGLY to the Iron containing HAEM groups on the alpha and beta chains...it does not bind strongly so the bonds can easily be broken when pH drops a tiny bit...

OK GUYS. Let me start by saying the person who started this thread is Completely and utterly wrong. Either he/she is a bit lost, or their teacher/pretend marker is. Completely incorrect. They will not be marked normally. They will not be penalised. But they will not consider 2. That is like...

    Feedback Mechanism Question

Does the whole state Biology in Focus text book? Page 16 - 17 I believe uses the term...Donno if it qualifies as being in syllabus.. But, Nervous system seems incredibly weak as its just so incredibly broad. Def will get the mark tho, as there is no other option which we have learnt.

    Feedback Mechanism Question

Um...this took me awhile. I was sure whether I should do two. 1 for the temperature increase of the room...and for for the temp decrease of room. As in Stasis --> stimulus (increase in temp) -- thermoreceptors--hypothalamus---effectors (muscles and glands) in this case the medulla oblongata for...

Belonging - 2 supp texts okay!

Behind closed doors anything can happen. They dont penalise you, of course they dont. But according to my teacher, who has marked HSC papers, and done this before, they cross out your weakest/shortest aditional and reread essay without it.
