i thought it was a pretty decent exam
first question was one i was worried about out of the two, but managed to agree with Gabbage most of the time
just payed the shit outa Von Ranke and Richard Evans using Howard Zinne, Keith Jenkins and John Vincent - love them fellas haha

yeah i thought it was a weird topic for a 12 marker
BUT, still managed to answer him well
didnt really focus on him in class time either but focused on the Greath Rhetra and that he called for a strong population of soldiers to defend Spartan ideals and ultimate survival in the face of...
i left with 40 mins left
i write really quick but..i finished the first two sections in 45 mins! i made a conscious effort to take my time but i just zoom through them..i do it with all exams
i thought it was an easy exam but, and i could answer the questions easily, which i think proves that...
good as exam!
thought it was easy as cept for few questions which i dont reckon deserved to be assessed like they were, i.e. lycurgus
but nevertheless answered everything well!
extension history and art to go!
yeah agree totally
initially in reading time i managed to bypass the fact that it said effects on Sparta, instead reading it as Greeks which was like a freaking god send of a question
not until i got to the section that realised i had imagined it haha
so i just did part B
was pretty easy just...

Was not bad overall
i agree with others that the questions were weird compared to previous papers, which ask for analysis and interpretations
but questions on the Aten and his building are pretty easy, cos they are the main points of his controversial reign

i thought about this side during the exam, but disagreed in the end. i think they want you to only refer to Spartiate women, as the question asks for info on Spartan women, and helots were not considered Spartan
yeah i agree
i didn't think there was enough content on lycurgus to justify such a high marking questions
nevertheless i covered everything and thought this section was awesome and easy, as was the whole exam! :D
This section was so easy, cant believe how easy it was. Surprisingly managed to spew out heaps of info about everything..finishished first two sections in 45 mins! i was on fire! haha:D
Re: Howd you find it?
yeah i agree
speer was definitely a winner
his ability to first burst out of the depression with his architectual feats, his ability to learn hitlers ambitions and play to them, combined with the fact he solely prolonged the German war effort by a yr thnks to his...
