These boards are counterintuitive, unless you have the power to ignore the general discussion topics, you don't help yourself or anyone else (unless it's a social problem, I guess)
Sorry for bumping an old post, but my new posts page hadn't marked a new message on this thread for some reason. Although I'm a bit late, thank you for the help!
If we are asked to discuss the worth of texts, and we have to refer to how they were valued over time, does this mean to examine how the texts were appropriated, how they portray values, how they were received or some other means that create an answer?
Thanks in advance.
This is true, but the thing is you shouldn't make up an entire story, you should make up an outline of possible characters and a scenario related to the area of study, right? That way you have more freedom to adapt the ideas to the question.
I'm sure there wouldn't be any harm in getting both of them to help, as (I think) was mentioned earlier. It's like getting help from more than one maths teacher, it can get interesting when a question is really complicated and the maths teachers point you into different ways to achieve the same...

I see. Well it isn't that I'm worried that I wont do well, it's that I'm worried if I can do it first of all, if that makes sense. When I brought it up in a conversation with my year adviser a little earlier in the year, he told me that I'd be wasting four units of my school life doing it...
Requesting suggestions.

English Extension 2 - (4U) First in prelim Ext1 and Advanced.
Maths Extension 1 at least (3U) - Top 20 (I think I'm 12th). 2U Maths - Top 30 (Just scraped into 3U...
Why don't you try listening to the Japanese news in the mornings around 5 or 5.30-ish. Also, there are many podcasts out there dedicated to the continuer's speaking level. A local favourite is japanese101 or japanesepodcast101 or something like that I believe. Check the stickies, there is...
