Re: Truong's tutoring, any comments?
It depends on the order that your school teaches the topics in, but in general tutoring will go faster than school.

If you have dyed hair and you're MALE or you're male and have a piercing, then he won't accept you.
And if you don't want to risk being kicked out (and you're male), don't dye your hair or get a piercing :)

He does offer 2U Maths, when you get into Year 12 instead of moving on with your class, you go back to the year 11 class because the 2u course is generally covered in year 10 - 11 :)
Re: Truong's tutoring, any comments?
Just putting my 2 cents in, I realise there's a lot of controversy over Truong's teaching methods, his personality and his values but the bottom line is
it's your hsc.
YOU ultimately decide how well you'll go;
tutor's are just there to help you, not...

Maths is counted as 2 units
as ext 1 suggests, it is a 1 unit subject
ext 2 is the equivalent of 2 units thus making it 4u maths :]
each ext subject (whether ext 1 or 2) is worth 1 unit
you are unable to do ext 2 without also doing ext 1
hope this helps :]
