This is the same for UTS right? The whole process is confusing me a little... But as far as I can *tell* I can't pick any timetable stuff until the in-person on-the-day enrollment?
99.50 without tutoring.... Figured I sucked at maths so I just dropped it and depended on the other ten units, using the extra time on subjects I was already good at. Worked far better than trying to get a mediocre result in something I'd never be too good at and wasting time to do so.
It...
Mum was amazed and was doing all these little services for me like getting me breakfast to congratulate me haha. Then her and my sister wouldn't stop talking and she was getting me to ring half my relatives which just makes me sound arrogant, but she was pretty much making me. :p
Dad on the...
Re: distinguished acheievers list
I'm in it for everything except blasted English Extension 1 which I missed out on by a point. :P Everything being English Advanced, English Extension 2, Modern History, Ancient History, and Visual Arts. :)
If it's accurate I am absolutely over the moon, cause both UMAX and SAM have predicted a good 5 or so points above what I was hoping for. Seriously 99-point-whatever is ridiculous hahaha. So don't deserve that. :p
VERY happy with my results, though one thing still slightly bugs me about them haha but it's no big deal.
Ancient History: 96. Band 6.
English Advanced: 94. Band 6.
English Extension 1: 44. E3. (ONE mark off an E4!? Gah...)
English Extension 2: 48. E4.
Modern History: 95. Band 6.
Visual Arts...
Ok that sentence just confused me. Which is it? :P
As for the course... I was having a look into it as possibly one of my lower back-ups but I'm not entirely sure at this point in time. Visual Communications at UTS is my top preference though, heh. Once the art exam is finally out of the way...
Started off reasonably... maybe a 5 or something... Hamlet in the English Modules paper pushed things up to about a 7 (always despised that module), and then Ancient History the following Monday with little break bumped it up to an 8 or 9...
...now that Ancient History is done I'm hovering at...
Did Old Kingdom Egypt society here. Pretty easy stuff. Ma'at was simple. Wall reliefs themselves rather than what they depict threw me a bit but I dealt with it through the magic of Barbara Watterson hahaha. Agriculture's importance to the economy was pretty obvious, as was the role of women...
Doubting I'll get full marks for the final question since I didn't talk too much about 1800s, more about how it'd progressed since then. Still had plenty of sources and examples though.
I still find it simultaneously odd and amusing that so many people had never heard of a fullery until today...
Yeah um... a Fullery isn't a butcher. As far as I recall it's a place where they removed stains from clothing from soaking it in an ammonia solution derived from stale urine or something. That's what the big tub in the source was for.
...no offense to anyone in this thread but until now I'd...
Thought it was a pretty decent test on the whole. Pompeii was easy enough. Old Kingdom Egypt I chose the 'Religious Beliefs' question which was nice and broad. Old Kingdom Society the questions weren't bad, aside from the one on wall reliefs themselves, rather than what they depict - that threw...
As for the section... I could've done so much better if I hadn't left this section until last. Felt fairly confident in the other three but then was running slightly short on time, so I had to rush. Would've preferred an Agrippina's relationship with [X] question but can't complain, I still have...
