*rolls eyes*
i'm not going to re-explain it.. nor do i care what you think is right. Similes aren't limited to including the term 'like' in all their sentences. Their are a lot of different ways to include similes in text without always saying 'like an apple' 'like a stop sign'.
anyway the...
it could be both seen as a simile and/or hyperbole.
if you actually think about it you'll find that its a satirical simile, playing on the fact that we are both exaggerating the test yet comparing it to a 2-unit paper.
therefore it using both comparison and exaggeration, or if you dont...
of course it makes sense.
the point is.. if you find this thread useless then dont post.
there is no reason to comment on a thread if its pointless is there ?
your just wasting your own time.
and of course a 2 unit paper would be harder, the title was supposed to be a joke but a simile to...
i loved having the 12 mark question as a subjective response, that was awesome coz i can always write heaps on that.
but section a) and b) were kinda hard.
the essay wasn't that bad since i studied pop-art and post modernism so the found objects conceptual framework was fitting ;)
but i...
dont worry about it, one of our art teachers is a marker and said that if the diary is called for its only because they dont understand your concept because it might be a bit vague.
they might wanna look on the developments through to your final draft.
:uhhuh:

anyway my main point is: just because other people take 3 hours to finish doesnt mean that people who finish earlier are at any disadvantage except for those who dont even try.
besides i'm not...
well unfortunately we're not even allowed to even leave early because they have to collect all the papers together, so i had to like sit there for half an hour.
but i just went over my papers and checked some mistakes that i had in punctuation, grammer and my expression.
so i guess it was...
its a fact that if you try to put more than the question asks into your answer then you'll start going off track which is a waste of time and could reflect on the marks of your answer.
i always finish my ancient history paper half an hour early and i'm ranked second in the class at about a 90%...
yea i totally agree with you.
no offence, but if you put the wrong date down im not sure you'll get the mark.
i mean you also didnt say the Mt Vesuvius eruption, so its a bit vague... :(
why do you consider leaving the exam early as a failure ?
maybe they studied really hard and therefore were able to answer the questions with ease.
doesnt nessecarily mean they will get a bad mark.
