UTS is a great uni and will soon become one of Australia's best in engineering. Don't listen to what people say about UNSW, sure it has a nicer campus but imo UTS engo is the best there is. It is also very practical and interactive especially for mechanical. I also feel that engo at UTS could...
Stats is simple... the lecturer is pretty good and his notes are great.. some things are confusing but its a skipable lecture... if u found MM1 ok then stats should be very straight forward to u
i think it depends on what you want to do after school.. since ur in yr11 this may change by the time you get to yr12..so maybe you should keep it until yr12
@Morbo: so on the 'My Activities' thing, when it says that a class is full, does that mean all the seats are meant to be taken...or could one still attend another class.
i think it depends on what your're going to study.
eg: I would go to UTS for engineering, but i think i'd rather do law at USYD
and i would rather do engineering at MIT than at Harvard.
3u is much more fun...
wen i was doing pp for hsc i wuld really enjoy doing 3u over 2u because 2u was so bland and repetitive... but in 3u u get to apply the principles more and thats much more fun...esp wen u solve a difficult question.
