Doesn't school start on Tuesday?
I did nothing. Gotta finish my homework for history; ~2 pages of notes and 3 essays :eek:.
And i was supposed to do 2 pages of creative writing for English on belonging, I'm screwed lol.
I'm too lazy to do it, i just wanna sleep.
Lately been sleeping around 10:00-11:30 on average, and waking up everyday at 6:30, for some reason i'm having trouble sleeping early this term... too much stress LOL.
There are capped subjects, and yes sadly IT is one of them.
2009: 50-->40.4
Which means the student who got 100 got 100 reported on his HSC report, but when calculating his atar the aggregate score contributing for 1unit X2 was 40.4 Edit:(i.e. a 80.8 contributing if it was in his best 10 units)
Oh God....
2008 Biology: 99-->100
2009 Biology: 98-->99.8
The scaling for the subject is the same however they aren't going to unfairly award a student who scored 1 less % than last years max 100 scaled mark.
Yet even though the max wasn't 100 in 2009 for Biology, BIOLOGY IS A NON-CAPPED...
The HIGHEST mark was 94, you cant scale a 94 to 100, if someone in standard later on in the years got a 99-100 then yes his HSC mark would scale to 100. Standard is not capped.
E.g. Biology is a non-capped subject however in 2009 the highest mark was 98% and it was scaled to a 99.8, in 2008 the...
Most of the standard cohort is lazy and doesn't work hard and are generally less intellectual in English writing than their advance peers, thats why standard is considered shit.
Doesn't mean you're gonna be ripping off band 6s for you're subjects mate. Stop being over confident that you're going to get over p50 in subjects like MX1 and especially MX2 where the majority of the cohort in MX2 is from very high ranked schools.
