Thanks, but I'm not worried about essays. It's newspaper articles, editorials, diary entries and speeches that I'm more worried about. As for asking my teacher: our yearly exams start the first day we come back to school and our first exam is English :P

My school looks at our school certificate marks when we choose our year 11 and 12 subjects. If we performed badly in any subject, they won't let us choose it as one of our courses. So, in that case, I feel studying is my only option. I'd choose not to study, though because it seems a waste of...

Does anyone know of a website or thread that gives detailed information on how to write and structure the main text types such as essays, short stories, newspaper articles, editorials etc ? Any help at all would be appreciated, thanks :D
