The GAMSAT is typically renowned to be one of the hardest exams you'll ever sit. 8+ hours or something, straight examination...and I thought UMAT was already bad enough.
I should think so, definitely! Unless your principal is being too harsh. I came first in all my subjects and easily got 99+ predicted.
I mean you don't necessarily need a 99+ prediction, but it does strengthen your chances obviously. If you get a killer UMAT but lower ATAR prediction e.g. 97 or...
Yeah it will definitely affect your chance of attaining an interview offer! My prediction was 99+, I got a little lower, but it still allowed me to keep my foot in the door by actually doing well in the interview for it to compensate for my <99 ATAR.
What school/rank do you go to btw? My...
Interviews are offered on the basis of your predicted ATAR in conjunction with your UMAT results (and whether you've passed their threshold) and some institutions like JCU give an interview based on ATAR prediction + application, as no UMAT is required there. Griffith doesn't even offer...

Oh okay, I've got it in the UAC correspondence, turns out it was already opened which was why i didn't notice XD, thanks guys!
Just another q, is there somewhere you can check which disadvantages you applied for were considered and which weren't?
If you applied before the 30th of Nov, you're supposed to have recieved the letter around the time ATAR's were released, anyone got theirs yet? I've got nothing..and i did apply before 30th Nov.
Thanks
hey so how am i supposed to put the preference for commerce/law? do i just put down the code for combined law now ie. 426000? then if accepted that's where i specify for commerce/law? or is there a specific code for that? Thanks!!
Hey guys, i was just wondering if ALL uni courses/unis give out early round offers? Cause a lot of my friends got early round offers yesterday, but they're all from UWS. Just wondering what determines if you get an early round offer or not?
Thanks!
Did you apply for JCU? i applied there before UMAT results came out, and thankfully so, since i've secured an interview there. don't know if they're still informing about interview offers though. You could try taking a gap year..but then even so, you have the possibility of wasting a whole year...
Is the pharmacy profession really saturated? I've spoken to a range of Pharmacy grad students, and they're almost all warning me not to even consider it because it's so difficult find a job and it's really close to impossible to set up a pharm business due to the financial costs involved (a lot...
