    Binomial Prob. Question!

Do model A and model B seperately. For example, the equation for model A is (W+N)^4, where w is working at 0.8 and n is not working at 0.2 Similarly for model B is (W+N)^3, where w = 0.6 and n=0.4 And remember to times the A and B since it says AND. Hope that helps

make two equations for the car and train with time variable let car = 40 + 40t train = 30+50t Use pythagoras theorem: distance = sqrt(distance of car + distance of train) then differentiate with respect to time substituting t = 1 ( after 1 hour)

    Cracking Help

My understanding is that Catalytic cracking is used to break down long hydrocarbons into an alkane and an alkene. It can't break down a molecule completely to ethylene like steam cracking can. Thermal/Steam breaks the hydrocarbons into very small chains like ethylene.

    Whose screwed for Industrial?

I say one of those screwd up questions where they give you the three different places on the map and you gotta discuss which plant goes where. Advantages/disadvantages for each position and make a judgement on the best option :D

    Diagrams in essays?

Yes. Imo you should include diagrams. Our teacher said to throw in relevant diagrams but don't go too much detail over it (Like don't label it and say when the curve moves from E1 to E2 etc). Just quick sketch with a ruler and use it to quickly explain.

    Whose screwed for Industrial?

Thats the sodium hydroxide yea? Yea 3 different processes. But atleast the overall equation is pretty much the same. You just needa change the half equations. I'm seriously hoping for solvay process. Easiest out of the three i reckon.
