Looks like a proxy error. Tools -> options -> under the hood -> Change proxy settings -> Connections tab (if you're not in it already) -> Lan settings -> Proxy server.. Fix it.

It was for me.. You can't REALLY build a PC wrong, assuming all your parts are compatible. It's not hard at all. Find a motherboard and buy all your parts based on it's compatabilities: DDR2/3, AMD/INTEL/, IDE/SATA etc.

No real down side to 64bit as it supports for than 3.5 gig of ram and can run 32bit applications... So go 64 bit as pretty much all new processors are 64bit since like, a year ago..
