No dates yet, just trying to get some people together first. So far a few are interested I guess and when we get some definites then we can set up dates and all the rest. Let me know if youve got any ideas?

maybe at a library or something, possibly as a regular thing?

How many ways are there to split 4 red, 5 blue and 7 black balls among:
i) 2 boxes, without any restrictions?
i) 2 boxes,with no box empty?

Oh it's definetly still going ahead jaylee, we're just trying to figure out the best place to do it; msn, via skype, in person etc. So that it's convinient for everyone who wants to join.
Well if you'll look to your left you'll see the shiny new member tag over there...i didn't know about any groups/ forums that were around dealing specifically with things...i thought this was all BoS had to offer?
and besides that, simply put, posting on a forum all day isn't really as...
well with a few people like yourself brontecat we might get it moving along pretty well: msn, skype, yahoo whatever way makes it easier for everyone...
well that's a pretty fair idea pillar, maybe even skype if you want to go a step further...the plans really haven't been set yet - just tryin gto get an idea of whether there are enough people willing to give it a shot
Sure, it's not the easiest thing in the world and with less 'standardized' subjects its hard to get together with people who study the same topics etc. But if you think about it, tutoring uses the same principle of getting people from different places together and going through different topics...
Thanks Khorne but that's all a little textbook don't you think? I mean, don't get me wrong, people pay good money to get that kind of advice from study seminars but I'm looking for something a little different.
People who meet in school, sure you know each other and I'm sure it'd work really...
I'm exactly the same. All the subjects I used to breeze through a couple years ago I'm now finding really hard to study for and concentrate on and maths has found its way up my fav subjects list.

You probably use visual references a lot and say things like "I see now" or "I get the picture." You like to see demonstrations, diagrams, slides, charts, and other visual aids in the classroom. You take great notes and you probably use color coded highlighting...
