As said above, exactly how much does our rank affect the ATAR?
it would be hard to judge how well you're doing if you're only in an insanely small class of 3 (which is my history ext. class) or even one?
how do rankings come into play there? and, in essence, how much do your raw marks account...
ive got the ken webb textbook for the what is history section and my teacher has photocopied sections from other things for that.
we've got bastians book for kennedy, good to know its an excellent resource (Y)
ive been told by my teacher not to rely too much on warren, because a lot of...
just feel like I need some guidance at the present moment
extension history has been a bit of a confuzzling course as of late - we tend to go off on massive tangents and debate about issues and junk rather then do class work.
i feel like i know nothing in regards to not only what is history...
ha yea. the general opinion i get is that people are aiming excessively high - everyones signature dons an ATAR aim of 98+
there also seems to be an excess of overconfident snobs...
we have the exact question for our assessment task. sounds dodgey but use wikipedia and let your teacher have a look - they can help you clarify your information
you're pathetic. its bad enough you dont have any advice to give. go display your bogus arrogance and pride elsewhere.
lailaa, my teacher said it is possible to include case studies so long as its relevant to your thesis and the source they give you with your question.
good luck with your...
just wondering who else is doing kennedy?
im having difficulty grasping the ideas of this case study - is it the same jist as what is history?
my teacher hasnt given us much direction to tell the truth...
help is much appreciated!! :)
just a quick question about school rankings:
does the rank of your school in comparison to other schools (say 300s) make a difference in your individual mark?
Do they mark the kids that do one particular subject according to their school as a group before tabulating results or is it done...
hi ho.
having the massiveist dilemma of all massive dilemmas. well, not really but you get the point.
i've been thinking and thinking and thinking and just can't seem to decide on whether i should keep or drop physics. ive got 12 units at the moment and scraped a pass with 15/26 in my first...
hi all
I need to choose a related text thats a visual, and wondering if people think this is a suitable one:
YouTube - An Imaginary Life
anyone else doing this? is it perhaps too popular to consider as a text?
thankies =D
any connection to a text, technique, idea or whatever is vaild so long as you are able to substantiate your arguement with relevant quotes and an in depth analysis.
your related texts dont need to have the same ideas as romulus - by that i mean your related texts dont need to all be about...
ye..i agree - my teacher is pretty...*limited* in her teaching abilities...too bad I have her for both my histories =S
but all is well. so I just have to stick my head in the topic and throw out a few points of conflict and from there turn them into key points and questions??
Howdy. I'm about to start my major project but alas, the more I look into my teachers notes and the syllabus the more confused I seem to get :S
Firstly:
My chosen topic is the Spanish Inquisition. My teacher told us to research a topic we knew nothing about and that was unaffiliated with our...
hey hey
our class of 7 discussed it for the entire lesson last time, and here were some of the topics that came up that could be useful:
the spanish inquisition (thats what I'm doing xP)
vlad the impaler
the early royal family (Queen Elizabeth I, Henry the 8th, etc.)
cleopatra
julius caeser...
mm..thats good. what kind of book stores do I need to look in? I looked at Angus and Robertson but all they got is the Excel books =/
I keep hearing so many mixed messages about those books, so I've decided not to go all out and buy them just yet.
Anyone got any other suggestions? :p
Textbooks
Yo.
Was wondering if anyone knows of any textbooks (beyond the ones they give you at school) that people have used and found useful for study in their HSC
I've heard a lot of mixed messages about Excel textbooks, and I've seen people walking around with Dot Point books for...
