English extension 2 is completely different from history extension, and both subjects teach things which no other subject can provide. I don't see the merits in a science extension which will just be a conglomorate of the techniques you learn...

Would your ATAR be far more important than your SAT? On one hand its a much more accurate percentile and far better judge of ability and application than SAT or subjects. But on the other hand, the SATs can be standardised across regions ...
Some people in our school did 2. They're smart enough that they covered all bases and wrote enough on both supplementaries. You can still get 15 with 2, it just becomes harder.
